I was headed out to the Rocky Mountains. But, because of the flooding in Colorado near Rocky Mountain National Park, I have decided to postpone this trip till next year (May, 2014). Instead, I will travel to the New England states:

In hindsight, that was a good thing. With the government shutting down, I would have been out of luck out West. I had planned on visiting 7 or 8 National Parks, and a lot of National Monuments - which all would have been closed! So, hopefully, next year, I'll have my adventure out West!
