Dixie National Forest

I took a drive through the Dixie National Forest, near Cedar City, Utah, today.  It's a very nice, peaceful drive; but, the road can be a little scary!  There are lots of twists and turns and high cliffs and no railings.  But, it is beautiful!

There are hiking trails and a lot of places where you can stop and see beautiful views of Zion National Park.

I pulled over here to look at a little stream.  It was so pretty.

This mother and baby were watching my every move!

A Starling

Lava Lake

Some kid lost their shoe.  How does THAT happen?  Wouldn't you notice if you didn't have one of your shoes on?

Lava Lake

This place was gorgeous.  It was a valley with a little stream going through it.  Hearing the water rushing over the rocks was so serene.

This moth was so small.  I don't know what it was, but it was just a little bigger than a penny.  There were several of them by this stream.  Very pretty!

A small, very small, waterfall.

Kermie and the Red Cat loved it here.
